The first step to earn the Happy Company™ Certification is to register your company by completing this online form.
Next, the employees at your company will need to participate in the Worker Happiness Index (WHI) assessment (the required number of respondents for validity will be confirmed upon the completion of this online application) to assess the current state of worker well-being at your company. Completing the WHI assessment typically takes 8-10 minutes per employee. Once one completes the assessment, they will receive a personalized Worker Happiness Results that contains a single index that ranges from 0 - 100 for each of the WHI indicators.
Upon completion of the assessment, we will schedule an Assessment Review with a Place of the Future staff member. On this call, Place of the Future will review the assessment with the primary contact of the registrant on the outcomes of the WHI. On average, it takes about 60 - 90 minutes to complete the review. Lastly, after the Assessment Review, instructions will be provided for the online portal where you will submit supporting documentation, if the average index exceeds 80. The Assessment will randomly select 8-12 items from the WHI and ask the company to demonstrate those practices in more detail through documentation. The documentation must be submitted no later than 90 days upon completion of the Assessment Review.
